PLEASE NOTE: anyone going onto the lake must be a member of HOAC.  We will show you how to become a day member or take out annual membership when you arrive at a rowing session.

Junior rowing

The quickest and most efficient way to get into the sport for junior novices is to enrol on a HOAC Learn to Row course.  This consists of 6 Saturday morning sessions (although courses are sometimes also run in school half terms and holidays).  Once you have done these courses you will then move on to the progression group on Saturday morning from 10am-12pm where you will build on the skills you have learnt in the learn to row course.

NOTE: To attend you will need to apply directly to HOAC – telephone: 01895 824171.

Adult rowing

If you want to come down and chat, it costs nothing. If you want to row before you commit to being a member you will only have to pay the HOAC day membership charge of £11, with no charge made by the club,up to a maximum of 3 sessions.  After this we would like you to join the club.

The adult membership fee from now to 31st March 2014 is £325. This includes HOAC membership and silver level British Rowing membership to 31st March 2014 .

Please print and complete a membership form and hand it in with your payment at the club.
